Lake District Weekday Wedding Photography
I’ve been a full-time professional photographer for over 15 years, photographing commercial commissions, interiors, hotels, brands and businesses across the Lake District, throughout the UK and abroad, France, Spain, Italy, Switzerland, Portugal and a week long fashion shoot in Iceland.
I just need New York to finish off shooting fashion, in the fashion capitals, London, Paris, Milan - don't fancy America theses days though!
Weddings were simply something I stepped away from for a while when family life became busier.
After a long break from the wedding side of photography while raising a family, I’ve returned to photographing a small number of relaxed weekday weddings and elopements across the Lake District and Cumbria.
These days I’m far more interested in atmosphere, people and beautiful locations than turning a wedding into a production.
Midweek weddings often have a different feel to them. Less pressure, fewer expectations and more room to actually enjoy the day. Whether you’re eloping to the Lakes, getting married at a luxury hotel, a barn, a registry office or somewhere completely outdoors, I photograph weddings in a relaxed, documentary style with a strong sense of place.
No awkward posing.

Most couples book between 4–6 hours coverage, which is usually the perfect amount of time to capture the ceremony, guests, details, atmosphere and some relaxed portraits in the landscape without disappearing for hours from your own wedding.
Based in Kendal and working throughout the Lake District National Park, Cumbria and North Lancashire.

I’m not interested in chasing wedding awards or creating heavily staged images that don’t feel real.
I’d rather document the atmosphere of the day honestly, sure I can throw in some cute light for a more editorial look, lets use landscape, the weather, the people, the moments in-between and everything that makes your wedding feel uniquely yours.

A 25% non-refundable deposit is required on completion of wedding documentation to secure the date, with full payment 30 days before the date. If the wedding is in 30 days or under at the time of booking, full payment will be required.
