After years working commercially across the Lakes and beyond, I’ve quietly found my way back to weddings - focusing on smaller, more relaxed celebrations for couples who care more about the experience than the performance.
The wedding industry loves awards.
I’m more interested in atmosphere, people and days that actually feel like themselves.
These aren’t huge production weddings with smoke machines and choreographed first dances.
The weddings I photograph tend to be:

Some involve walking boots and mountain weather, maybe a morning trail run
Some happen in beautiful Lake District hotels overlooking the water.
Some are simply two people escaping the noise and getting married in a hay barn quietly with a handful of friends.
I now photograph weekday weddings only (but talk to me about a weekend) specialising in relaxed Lake District weddings, smaller celebrations and elopements throughout the Lake District, Westmorland and Furness, Cumberland and the wider North of England.
That means I can keep things calm, flexible and personal.
